Something Old... (5/22/11)

Aloha PoolDawgians!

Ok, before I get started the answer is no.  No one is getting married, I just want to push some old stuff and some new stuff and thought the title would be a clever hook.

Now, getting to the important news, this week we do in fact have some new items as well as some old ones that I'd like to share with you (which is code for stuff I'd like you to buy).

Since I know how excited you are to have yet another sales pitch hitting your inbox on a Tuesday morning, I better get to it.  So, without further delay, four new products to tantalize and tease your pool palate:

Prestige No Number Ball Set - $79.95

Numbers on pool balls are so 2010, dontcha think?  If you know that the 1 ball is yellow and the 6 ball is green, you probably don't need numbers on your balls.  Keven and Alexis can rattle off the numbers of course, but for the life of me I can never remember what the purple ball is.

Prestige Worldwide, yo!

The Tip Pik Shaper

What happens when you combine a Tip Pik with a Cue Cube?  Well, you get the Tip Pik Shaper of course!  This counts as both old and new, since it takes two of the most popular products ever introduced to the billiards industry and combines them into one, giving you one less thing to carry in your pocket.

Plus, at $12.95... what a bargain!  Who are you to refuse?

The Kamui Gator Grip

This one falls under the category of new-ish, since we've had it for a couple of months, but still, it is really cool and does a nice job scuffing up your tip.  Kamui refers to it as "agitating", but that just makes me think of how people reacted to their new $25 per cube chalk at the Super Billiards Expo.

I kid, I kid.  This tool is really nice and does a great job prepping your tip for chalking.  Focus on the ebony version though, because we're almost out of the boxwood.

The Cue Shark PUP Tip Tool

Now you might be thinking that this is just another tip tool, but don't let the cute name fool you.  The Cue Shark is seriously wicked.  First off, you don't have sandpaper inserts for the scuffer and shaper.  This bad boy is made with a silicon carbide mixed with a specialized epoxy, which is just fancy talk for saying it will last a really, really, really long time.

Plus, with this tool you get nickel and dime shapers, a scuffer, a burnisher, a tip perforator and a side trimmer.  It even can be used as a pocket marker for you APA folks out there.
