Once the old cue tip comes off your cue, this is a sander to even out the top of the ferrule so the new tip will glue on flat to give you a good shot once it dries in place. This way you can keep the same quality shot as you had before with a new tip.Specifications

Simple to use. It work good. For the pool player who doesn't have a lathe or a steady hand.This is a good tool to have.. There is thin rubber on the jaws so no marking up your stick.

Does its job, but the clamp is likely to damage a nice shaft. The metal clamp should be rubber to prevent putting dents or gouges in a shaft.
I will only use it on my house cues, I would never use this on any of my nicer cues.

I use this cue top sander a lot, it works perfectly! For best results, roll a small piece of paper around the the shaft to avoid any dents from the clamp.
