When I was a kid I took over my Dad's old snooker cue and used it for everything but snooker. I could make the cue ball dance with it and could pull off almost impossible curves and trick shots. Somehow I lost it, probbably left it behind at a pool shoot and I saw this one for such a low price I couldn't resist it. Once I got the tip shaped to my liking it works just as nice as I remember my Dad's doing. I use to impress my Buddies when we do casual shoots and I'm back to being a trick shot artist. Thanks PoolDawg for bringing back one of my fondest memories of my long deceased Dad.

Bought this to play around with. Ended up putting in the lathe and reshaping the taper to a 10mm x 330mm pro-taper. I installed an Elk Master tip and replaced the brass ferrule ring with a short piece of aluminum arrow shaft. The shaft is now quite good for shooting over and around balls, also it draws like nobodies business (2 full lengths of a bar box). Long straight shots and long English shots are however pretty difficult. Think I'm gonna make a tight grained white oak shaft with the same dimensions and compare.

I just recently bought myself an Elite ELSNK01 Snooker Cue as a Christmas present because my wife said she would never be able to select an appropriate one for me. This week, I used it for the first time and found it to be just what I wanted. I selected the 16 oz. model and found the weight to be just right. It feels great in my hands and I played very well at The Seniors' Centre on Monday. Thanks for the great deal.
