I immediately named this stick "The Beast"
I just received my cue day before yesterday and haven't had much opportunity to become acquainted with it or the Kamui black hard tip but I already love it. I struggle somewhat with miscuing but as I get in my repetitions I get better and more comfortable crushing the rack. I will recommend this cue to friends, thanks PoolDawg !
must say this stick is pretty impressive to say the least...i play pool pretty much everyday and actually this is my first break cue ive ever bought...on that note it was a great buy for the price!!...i play 9 ball and 8 ball...in 9 ball it will give you a wide open to work with if you make a ball in..which most of the time i have...8 ball...pretty much the same and ive ran out twice since ive been using it...the only thing is that you have to get use to it if not you will miscue...but once you got the break locked down...its game on!...very good breaker!..my teamates were in awe when i showed it to them....we call it "the bat" now!...
Nickname: The Mjolnir
This thing is massive! This was my first break cue. It generates a lot of power (if that is your thing). If you are not use to the weight, you can miscue a lot. I now have a BK3, but I still pull this out every now and again when playing with friends.

so, lets see as a break cue it is amazing, dont need to put alot behind it to get a full table spread, if you line it up right, you can accurately 8 ball break. now for playing, i have a spare shaft for this with a tiger sniper tip, works wonders, and its amazing, once you get used to it, for those of you that like a heavy cue, this will work good for you, now i NEVER suggest actually using this as your main playing cue, just because with the weight it really carries alot of momentum, hard to have a soft shot really. but for some of those shots where a fair bit of ummpaaa is needed, this makes it really easy to keep your accuracy while throwing some weight behind the ball. i use an old mali for normal play. but when it comes to a SOLID break this is amaizing.

Love this break
I originally got this break stick to help put a little muscle in my break. I absolutely love it! My break has definitely improved a great deal, I have even gotten an 8 ball break!!! I would highly recommend this break stick. My entire team has gotten to where they use it all the time now.

5 star Break Cue
I have been using this cue for one season in league play and I am extrememly pleased with it. My goal was to achieve consistancy with my own break cue instead of using a random bar cue.
The cue is very heavy but the weight bolt can be removed to bring the weight down to a normal cue weight, if you can't handle a cue that hits like the "Hammer of Thor". When I first started using the cue, I tended to miscue because the tip is unlike the cues I'm used to breaking with. With a little practice and chalking I have no problems with a miscue at all!!! My wife also uses this cue to break with and has NO problem with the weight or with miscues.
For the money how can you go wrong with this heavy phenolic tip break cue. If you don't like the weight remove the weight bolt and you still have a great break cue for the money.
I would buy the cue again and recommend it to a friend.

Still dont know
I bought this stick to try out, First time trying to use it, hitting hard I would mis-cue every time. But trying to hit softer with it I still got a good solid break, 3-4 balls off each break.
I still dont know if I'm going to keep it as I cannot hit hard with it or it will mis-cue, going to try it out a little more and see.
If Mr. T were a pool cue......
This break cue is VERY well built for the money. HEAVY is not an understatement! I can get powerful breaks with a light cue and this cue, but where the cue ball goes is a different story.. Some say stroke speed makes the break, others prefer weight.. Everyone is right! With that being said, with this cue, I can sacrife stroke speed and concentrate on accuracy, achieving powerful AND controlled breaks! It doesnt do you any good to make 4 and leave yourself stuck on a rail or worse, SCRATCH! I cant make any claims towards making more balls, it doesn't matter how hard you hit them if the rack isn't tight! I'd suggest making the upgrade to a hard break tip... All in all, I'm very satisfied with this breaker, very consistent, very powerful..
Viva Le Difference
I ordered the Elite Heavy Breaker (27oz.), the Stealth STHBK01 Breaker (25oz.), and the Cuetec CT296 Breaker/Jump cue (21oz.). All 3 cues have different weights, different tips, and different ferrules. I compared these cues over a number of days; here are my results:
Elite Heavy - Sank up to 5 balls on break; but it left the object balls bunched up and harder to run out.
Stealth Breaker - Sank up to 3 balls on break; left the object balls really scattered.
Cuetec CT296 Breaker/Jump - More consistant with less power; also sank up to 3 balls on break and left the object balls really scattered. This is the cue I kept.
You cant beat Pooldawg.com - the most knowledge, the best return policy, and the fastest, most courteous customer service.
Bruiser, log, saw, I could go on and on with names that all the people on my pool teams call my Elite Heavy Breaking stick . The plain fact of the matter is this break cue scatters the object balls to Kingdom Kong. I have always been pretty sufficient at making eight ball breaks so, if you are just buying this stick thinking you will get more eight ball breaks out of it please don't, a house stick is just fine. I bought this stick because I was not satisfied with the way the house sticks left the object balls bunched up making it harder for run outs. Problem solved with this one. With no history of breaking with this stick on my first night out with it 8 out of 10 racks were ran out after the break. I am 110% satisfied with this stick and the price makes it almost too cheap. Thanks and Good Luck on the tables.

Love this cue. Practiced on my table at home then went to local bar and got my first 8 ball break. My big stick is the most admired talked about stick in town!
too heavy for ladies
I would not suggest this stick for a lady shooter as it is extremely heavy to hold. I hit 4 breaks with it, 2 miscues. You would not think 7-8 ounces would make such a big difference, but IT Does!
A nice stick, but I will leave this purchase for the men. I love the 60 day guarantee Pool Dawg gives.

when you break with this cue the balls are all over the table and you allmost always make at least one ball on the break making for easier runouts or closs to it. The only draw back is if you don't make a ball on the break your oppont has the same chance for a runout.
This Break Stick Rocks
I used to break with another more expensive stick with phenolic tip also. This stick has improved my breaking power treamendously. I average two 8-ball breaks a night if I am playing about 20 games..so 10% of the time...If I play league, I always drop several balls in 8-ball and last week alone dropped 4 solids on my break. Have noticed improvement in 9-ball with my biggest break with this stick dropping in 5 balls including the 9...6 points off a break isn't too bad! Would recommend trying it out and it is certainly priced right

I was curious about this cue and after receiving it, took it down to the local bar and was totally at amazed at the breaking power that has been added. I love the cue stick
Well, after using this break stick for a while, I have realized that I needed a much lighter break stick. I still use it for the construction, but have taken out the weights. I'm still satisfied with the cue.

Our Best Selling Break Cue
The Elite Heavy Breaker is our best selling break cue by a wide margin. That being said, this break cue is not for everyone. There are lots of theories that deal with cue weight. Some people hold the theory that a heavier cue will equate to more power. Others say the same of the ultra light break cues. Much like swinging a heavier (or lighter) baseball bat, this is dependent on how quick you can snap. Just by looking at Newton’s Second Law, we know that acceleration is dependent on both the net force acting on an object and the mass of the object itself.
While I’m not a physicist and remember very little from my high school physics class, the bottom line is that a heavier cue will not always mean a more powerful hit or break. In some cases, it may even create less power depending on how much force you can create.
That being said, I love this break cue. It gives me a much stronger break than I have with a standard break cue, but I do find that I lose a bit of control when using my heavy breaker, however the increase in power more than makes up for the slight loss of cue ball control (for my game anyway). When deciding whether or not this is the right break cue for you, consider the following questions:
*Are you going to be able to generate enough force to get a powerful break with a heavy breaker?
*Is a 27oz cue legal in your league?
*Do you prefer a fat shaft (as the heavy breaker's shaft is approx. 14mm)?
As with all the pool cues we sell, this comes with a 60 day satisfaction guarantee, so if you buy it and it's not for you, just give us a call and we'll get it taken care of.
