Officially recognized by the APA, The Ultimate Pool Challenge will help you conquer the table while having fun and competing with friends.

This game instructs you with the correct english on each opening shot, teaches you speed and ball control & how to play the rails. Each card contains valuable lessons that only can be perfected on the felt. You'll see your game improve immediately, and will start thinking 2 and 3 shots ahead – just like the pros.

Get ready to shuffle, draw and shoot!

Here's a quick overview on how the game is played:
Player draws a challenge card from the deck; an opponent sets up balls as pictured on the card. Player attempts to make the shot. If player makes the shot or shots on the challenge card, the challenge has been met. Player then retains the challenge card and its associated points. Player draws again to continue play. If player fails the challenge, the card must be passed to the next player, who in turn gets to shoot whatever scenario is left on the table, and can now play any pocket.

Be sure to scroll through all the images to check out some of the sample cards!

Challenge: 52 different angle shots, combinations, multi-shot scenarios, caroms, and breakshots
Play: Alone or with others
Feature: Also doubles as a regular deck of cards

      lots on fun

    • I just received these last night the game is very fun and challenging. not sure what card it was but there was one shot my friend took that he said you could not see the object ball past a blocker ball to make the cut. i think it was just because we where playing on a bar table. he would have had the angle on a 8 or 9 foot table. the type is small and the directions for game play are a little vague but we just set our own rules to clarify. the poker cards also make for a fun way to play, for better poker hands rather then points we played best 5 card hand wins discard as you go over 5 cards it was lots of fun. it made it more interesting because we only completed maybe 1 in 5 on the first attempt. they are hard if your not experienced

    • I started by using the 5 free cards. I copied them and tried them out the very next day. I was VERY IMPRESSED. I would say this is a must have for training as well as fun.

      Great game!

    • My buddies and I always play this when we are in my basement, and have 3-6 players. This way we can all play and wait times are low. We use a dry erase board to tally points. My brother shoots on my pool team and every now and then he will comment that on how a shot may be similar to a certain card.
      Really a great buy!

    • In my quest to improve my game I decided to buy several training aids from PoolDawg.
I have to say that practice can get a little dry when doing drills day in and day out. The Ultimate pool challenge offers some variety and allows you to invite friends into your practice. Due to the many different ways in which you can change up the way the shots are set up it allows seasoned players to add a challenge to the game in proportion to thier skill level. Anyone looking for a way to have fun and learn while practicing would benefit from the Ultimate Pool Challenge game.

      Great practice tool

    • I have not played this as the intended game yet. I bought it to guide practice time. I just shuffle the deck and start pulling cards and shooting those shots until I make them clean. Then take the next card.

I did come across one setup that does not work as depicted, which is why I gave them a 4.

I think it would be fun to play with others, I just haven't had a chance to do that yet.

I have the advanced set as well, but have not played through this set enough to move on. They did change the format a bit on the new set. I think the aspect ratio of the cards on this set was off (card too wide or not long enough) to match a true table. The advanced set looks more in proportion. But don't let that hold you up. Great shots in here with clues on how to shoot the shot. Good learning tool.

      Ultimate pool game challenge

    • Have made this a major part of my practice. One of the bars I go to has me bring in the deck and they open tables so we can do the challenge. Excellent alternative to just playing flat out against someone.

Highly recommended using at home and away.
