Available in soft, medium or hard, each Hirano tip features four layers of ultra-thick pigskin, with the fibers in each layer aligned in different directions for greater strength and stability. Plus, because the manufacturing does not include any chemical additives, your tip will not become slippery or rigid over time.

    • I got a Hirano soft and it is a very springy somewhat unpredictable tip. I attribute this to the fact that it is still new on my cue and there is a lot of tip left on it, however, it doesn't hold chalk as much as it should being a soft tip. I probably should have tried a medium.

    • I didn't like this tip very much..it just seemed to not hold chalk well and even when scuffed, picked, and tapped, it still didn't do much for added spin or control.
