While this chalk does improve the grip for applying english and draw it is very greasy, messy and transfers to the white ball quickly and is passed on to the other balls over time. I would suggest buying the kamui v1.21 first and only get the .98 if you are after extreme white ball control. This chalk is overpriced in my opinion

Just as a random experiment I played 7 racks of 10-ball without rechalking, without a single miscue. I didn't change my style of play or the amount of side I used to alter the results. This stuff works. Price isn't a major concern as I don't go through a cube a night. I keep it in my case after I apply the first layer so it won't grow legs.
In normal play I layer the Kamui on first then coat it with Blue Diamond. That way I can rechalk with the BD as part of my usual pre-shot routine but I always have the Kamui on as a base. I'll be buying more of it.
Does it magically make me a better player? No, but it does stop me from miscuing. I have a Kamui Black Medium on my Predator shaft and the tip is very hard. I've used a tip-pik on it and even with holes in it that thing is as slippery as a phenolic. The chalk is the only thing keeping me from ripping the ingot off and replacing it with a Moori.
Kamui chalk is definitely worth the wait and the price. I didn't believe it would make a difference until I tried it myself. I'm glad I took the leap.
