      Good to practice with tighter pockets

    • I enjoy a better game when the pockets are harder to make. The only thing I had problems with this product was the side pockets kept slipping out. I have a very expensive table cloth that's stretched tight and the springs would not hold on the pockets. No matter where I set the reducer in the side, when it was hit ,the reducer would fly out. Sometimes it would just fly out on its own. I gave up and removed the side pocket reducers. It does make you learn to shoot for the center of the pockets each shot.

    • Just got a set of these. My table has pretty wide pockets, which makes it fun for the average player. But when I play league games, the pockets a 1/4 to 1/2 inch smaller. These make the pockets tighter than most and are good to increase accuracy. They stay put. They do change the angle of the pocket sides, so balls will bounce out and not deflect into the pocket. This just makes it tougher, which is the point. Another thing that should be obvious, but was not, is that the spring that sticks up makes shooting out of the corner difficult to impossible. Not a problem for practice time, but didn't think about this until I started using them.

      They do make you sharpen your aim and I do recommend them.
