One Foot on the Floor by Arthur Sarnoff Game Room Mirror

Looking for a conversation piece for your game room? Look no further than this "One Foot on the Floor" mirrored picture. In this picture you see that dogs of all shapes and sizes love the game of pool. The little Beagle uses a bridge stick to make a difficult shot as his cigar smoking, beer drinking buddies look on. Did he make the shot? Maybe the trophies in the background are a hint. The illustrator behind these now infamous "dogs playing pool" images is the late Arthur Sarnoff. Sarnoff was inspired by similar paintings created by C.M. Coolidge and went on to make a name for himself with the dog art, tasteful pin-up girl calendars and numerous magazine ads and illustrations in the 1930s, 40s and 50s.
