The Schmelke SCHM01 pool stick is crafted with a beautiful bacote wood butt and a Canadian hardrock maple shaft which is coated with a special UV finish, giving it a smooth, easy glide surface that is simple to maintain. The cue's Elk Master soft tip provides maximum gripping action and control. Schmelke has been making cues in Northwest Wisconsin for more than 50 years.     • I was looking for an economical cue when I came across this Schmelke Bacote. I thought it looked cool, a different type of sneaky pete, but when I got it I have to say I am very impressed, not only is the bacote wood beautful this cue is well balanced, shoots smooth and true.I think I've become a better player scince I got this cue. I would up-grade the tip if you don't like the elkmaster it comes with.(soft or med) This a quality cue for near nothing, friends think I paid twice what Pool Dawg gets for this cue. I highly recommend this Bacote Cue Stick. Thank you Schmelke!
