As advertised, good stitching, and easy to apply. It definitely catches peoples eye.

Very stiff-hitting shaft that reduces deflection quite a bit. It actually threw my aim off on half-ball hits for a few games until I stopped adjusting for the way a normal shaft bends when using a lot of side/English.

Kamui Chalk .98 (1 Cube) - $27.95
-
Just as a random experiment I played 7 racks of 10-ball without rechalking, without a single miscue. I didn't change my style of play or the amount of side I used to alter the results. This stuff works. Price isn't a major concern as I don't go through a cube a night. I keep it in my case after I apply the first layer so it won't grow legs.
In normal play I layer the Kamui on first then coat it with Blue Diamond. That way I can rechalk with the BD as part of my usual pre-shot routine but I always have the Kamui on as a base. I'll be buying more of it.
Does it magically make me a better player? No, but it does stop me from miscuing. I have a Kamui Black Medium on my Predator shaft and the tip is very hard. I've used a tip-pik on it and even with holes in it that thing is as slippery as a phenolic. The chalk is the only thing keeping me from ripping the ingot off and replacing it with a Moori.
Kamui chalk is definitely worth the wait and the price. I didn't believe it would make a difference until I tried it myself. I'm glad I took the leap.

Kamui Black Pool Cue Tip (Single) - $21.75

Nice firm hit, and great sidespin control with these. Definitely on par with the Moori's. Tried the Kamui II (tan) and didn't like them as much; the Black's are more consistent.

Moori Pool Cue Tip (Single) - $19.95

Over the years I've tried different brands, some layered, some not. The Moori's always keep me coming back, they're a great buy. Very consistent hit anywhere on the tip and it's easy to use accurate sidespin with these.
