    • As much as I swooned over the look of the wood joint protecters, I have to say that I am a little bit of a worrier and the plastic is almost impossible to beat for the price and will never rust or exchange wood stains or etch your joints. I like what they are for what they are and if they break one day while saving my precious joints, I wouldn't mind getting more plastic.

    • I alomost want to call this a sneakier Pete except you cant really shoot your regular shots with a phenolic tip all that well. It's weighted a little heavy on the back-side. It could be more balanced. The quick release is superb! A nice looking addition for my breaks at home and around tournaments.

    • For the price, it's outstanding. I look forward to customizing mine a little since I may run into others that bought this same case. My favorite little thing about the case is when you shut the front portion where you see that silver clasp, it automatically spins itself shut. The thickness of the flap over the butts in front is nice and sturdy. It seems pretty well made. Me likey.

    • You could get a softer tip for a dollar or two but I wanted to try the layered tip once again. I had great results with this tip before on another stick. I also remember that one of the layers came off after it had been on the stick a long time. That could also be because I had this tip on a low-end stick that I kept in the trunk along with the cold / hot climate changes that comes with. I am sure you get better results with a nickle radius with this tip.

    • Well, I ordered 2 of the dime shapers but I got 2 nickles, the pun, I feel a little short changed...dimes, nickles, lol. The product works great so far. It is a little time consuming but you get consistant shape on all sides if you work the tip in a circle as instructed.
