I was a little suprised that the beginning of the tube didn't have a little felt or soft material to keep your shaft or butt from making contact with a hard surface and the zipper tag is painted in a strong gold with the letters in black. Being an older dude, I know the gold is going to wear off pretty easily over time and would have cared more for something a little more neutral. I hope this info helped, good pricing by the way.

I have not even chalked this cue up because I bought it for my brother-in-law but he likes the look of a house cue, he can unscrew it to keep it safe in a case, it has enough detail to stand out from a bar cue so others won't easily mistake it for one and use it...all around, I am really happy with the price, the product was protected good during shipping. So far, I am happy and await gifting it to my brother-in-law:)
