    • This cue is a work of art. The branding work is great and the leather wrap is a beautiful finishing touch.

The shaft that comes with is a different story. It has a funky-feeling hit that I didn't enjoy. Also it comes with a Triangle tip - too hard for my tastes.

Fortunately I also purchased a McDermott Inimidator i2 shaft to go with my Outlaw butt - it makes a world of difference. The i2 brought all the performance to match the beauty of this cue.

    • The McDermott Intimidator i2 is absolutely a tour quality shaft. The hit feels solid and is incredibly consistent; I've played with many shafts and this one helps me hit with very precise english, again and again. Also, the intricate construction of the shaft really comes through and you feel how well built it is.

The only gripe I have is that the feel is somewhat muffled; I like the sensation of the hit to be full in my right hand. This shaft's hit is very short and solid with a crisp finish.

    • QKS cases are essentially bulletproof and the Artillery case is no exception. The walls of the case are very thick and stiff, and the pockets are sufficiently large. It is on the slightly heavier side, but does have a padded shoulder strap.

    • Regular scuffers have a texture nearly as rough as a coarse metal file - perfect to maul a fine tip like a Kamui. The pictures don't illustrate how fine and unique the surface on this scuffer is - it's almost microscopic. I use them with my Kamui original and Kamui Black tips, and the result is a very fine, textured scuff that holds ton of chalk. Expensive but well worth it.

    • This is a great cue- it can't be overstated. It has a solid, crisp hit that leans on the power side of things with the Le Pro tip.
