    • I had a 4 ball which had been chipped when jump practice when astray. I called up Samm Diep at PoolDawg for an emergency replacement. I mean, how could I show my face to the neighbors with a chipped 4 ball?? The horror of it all!! Samm, in a moment of ordering clarity produced the allusive 4 ball and the disaster was averted.
In all seriousness, the 4 ball is a premium ball and my set is a standard. So I imagine my 4 ball has a superiority complex. The number is slightly different than the standard set but I'm the only one who notices the difference. It racks up fine with my other balls and has played beautifully. I would recommend this as a solution to anyone faced with a chipped ball in their set.

    • My set of joint protectors were supposed to be a temporary fix while I waited on custom joint protectors. I asked Samm Diep to see if she could find some inexpensive but quality joint protectors for my custom cue. The Action Joint Protectors are what arrived in my shipment. It is almost a year later and I'm still using them. The custom joint protects never came through and the temporary fix seems to be a fine solution. The plastic is well bonded to the threaded screw. The reassess for the shafts match nicely and they are low profile so they fit in my case very well. For the price I couldn't be happier.

    • In my quest to improve my game I decided to buy several training aids from PoolDawg.
I have to say that practice can get a little dry when doing drills day in and day out. The Ultimate pool challenge offers some variety and allows you to invite friends into your practice. Due to the many different ways in which you can change up the way the shots are set up it allows seasoned players to add a challenge to the game in proportion to thier skill level. Anyone looking for a way to have fun and learn while practicing would benefit from the Ultimate Pool Challenge game.

    • I actually own 2 sets of these balls for my table at home. The roll well and have very clear markings. They seem to retain a good cleaning for a long while as long as the felt is clean. I do notice they get a little dusty on Felt vs. Simones cloth, but that is the felt not the balls. The reason for 2 sets is I had one of the balls from my previous set chip and pooldawg didn't have a replacement at the time. Due to the set being so well priced I chose to buy the set. Now I have 14 other ball replacements for that all important game!!
