Hard cases feature high impact tubes that hold your butt and shaft in place while you're on the move. These cases help protect against dents as well as warping. The smallest cases are referred to as one butt/one shaft cases, meaning they allow you to carry one cue butt and one cue shaft in the case. Cases typically go as high as three butt/seven shaft or even four butt/eight shaft. If you're a player on the go, a hard case is the case for you.
The QKS name is synonymous with two things: Sleek design and high quality. With those in mind, here we have their newest 1x1 case; the faux leather of this case has a deep, rich color to it and is tooled to a smooth, matte finish. Inside is a thick, soft felt dividing wall, ensuring that your cue is always safe from damage. And all that sits atop five stainless steel feet. It may not be the largest case, but it's certainly one of the most striking.
Like the other QK-S cases, the Ray is built like one of those Mack Trucks I hear so much about. Strong, sturdy, durable and it has enough room for my shooting cue, my breaking cue and all the tchotchkes I like to schlep around. Excellent choice of pool cue case for any level of player that needs to carry their cue around and provides way more protection than a soft case.
Ok, seriously, the Samurai is eight degrees of awesome. It is by far the crown jewel of the line and considering the 2x4 size, the construction and the durability, this one is a keeper. The pockets are huge, it holds shafts up to 31" in length, the style is slick, even the shoulder strap is nice. Totally worth the price of admission. Learn More
This new QKS soft case is built for the pool player on the go! With space for three butts (and a jump butt!) as well as four shafts and a copious amount of labeled pockets, this case will make sure that you never leave without a full arsenal ready for the next match.
The Swordman may be the entry level model QK-S case, but there's nothing base about this bad boy. The construction is all sorts of durable, built with a heavy duty textured vinyl and two ginormous pockets. What I really like though is the fact that it can hold up to a 31 inch shaft, but the inserts don't make it hard to get a standard sized shaft out. Great case, great price.
2x3 isn't something you see very often, which always surprises me since the size makes so much sense. If you have a shooting cue, a breaking cue and a jumper, a 2x3 is exactly what you need. Just drop the jump butt into the jump butt pocket and you're good to go.
