DESCRIPTION

The Cue Doctor Dent Buffer has caused quite a positive stir, and it is well deserved. Every cue can acquire annoying nicks and dents in the shaft that can affect total concentration. This tool is simple, convenient and effective for removing those dents, without damaging the wood with steam or alcohol. It is made of hardened borosilicate glass to assure the utmost in quality and consistency.

Simply rub the glass rod over the dent in the shaft lightly and vigorously until the clicking sound of the dent fades away as the dent is smoothed. This product can also be used to shine your worn Irish linen wraps or smooth out frays and scratches. It has repeatedly received high ratings and rave reviews, and is well worth every player's consideration.

  • 0.3 product ghosst 2012-01-02" 1.0 5.0 1 While the actual product itself is well made how it works causes damage to the cue. This tool actually compresses the wood fibers around the dent making it larger but less noticeable. You're better off stripping any finish off with a Magic Eraser and using a drop of water to pop the dent back out. After a few hours use a Q-Wiz to polish the shaft back down and seal it.

  • 0.3 product ALFRED HARRIS 2011-01-04" 1.0 5.0 5 This is a great little tool that has paid for it's self 5 times over. I gets those little ( and not so little) dings out of your shaft. With a little work it smooths everything out and slicks up your shaft saving you a trip to the repair shop. For the big dings a little 600 or 800 grit sand paper first then a good rub with the dent buffer and it just save you 30 bucks (that what my locail cue guy charges to polish a shaft)

  • 0.3 product Doug Schmidek 2010-11-02" 1.0 5.0 5 I dinged up one of my favorite shafts pretty well with lots of little dings (I didn't know it was rolling around and hitting things). Despite sanding and polishing it I could always feel the little indentations. After working the shaft for maybe 20 minutes (had lots of dings) it had smoothed them out without removing material from the shaft. It even worked well on another shaft where I had a deeper ding. It's tiny should fit into any cue case and can be used at any time - ie - between matches or even between shots.
