A simple, elegant training aid that does exactly what it claims -- it helps you visualize the cut angle needed to make a particular shot. I've found it helpful for setting up practice shots, say a quarter-ball hit, and then practicing the shot without wondering if I'm missing the shot because I didn't execute it correctly or because it's not really a quarter-ball hit. I *know* the necessary cut angle from the BAT -- if I'm missing the shot it's because I'm not executing the stroke correctly. That's a huge advantage during practice -- I can focus on my cue ball control rather than wondering if I'm aimed correctly.
