You know those running stickers that people put on their cars?  26.2 for a marathon, 13.1 for a half-marathon?  Well, living in Boulder, Colorado I have to see those things pretty much every time I drive to and from work (or anywhere for that matter).  It's not that I'm a hater or jealous of their running skills (after all, I've completed the Treadmill 10k about a billion times and have even contemplated running the BolderBOULDER on more than one occasion, although running with 40,000 people sounds like a whole different type of hell), I just felt like pool players should have their own sticker letting people know about our sport's marathoners.

Armed with this million dollar idea, I immediately dropped everything and sat down with our kickass graphic designer Pam to make this dream a reality.  And with that, the 14.1 sticker was born.

As you can see, we put a "14.1" where the 26.2 or 13.1 normally goes.  The sticker is a standard oval, so it doesn't require anything more than a quick peel and stick.  We included a little "That's How I Run" mention at the base of the sticker, just so the marathoners don't confuse this with some awesome new distance to run.

Now we wouldn't ask you to buy anything that we haven't tried out ourselves, so I put one on my car to show just how awesomely awesome it looks:

Pretty sweet, right?  Plus, we're pricing them at under a buck a piece (and you can even get it shipped on the cheap via USPS First Class Mail), so feel free to buy some for your teammates, family, friends, marathon runners who aspire to be pool players or anyone who just wants to be awesome.  Don't feel constrained by just putting on your car though.  You can put one on your case, your laptop, your Pee-Chee folder, your Thermos, or even your Scooby Doo metal lunch box.

Since I have one on my car, I suppose I should get practicing, since my current high run is about 10 balls.  If you're looking to set the bar a little higher than besting the PoolDawg guy who writes these blog posts, Willie Mosconi currently holds the record for the longest run in 14.1 at 526 balls.
