You can literally feel and hear all of the energy being transferred from your hand, through the cue, out into the phenolic tip and into the cue ball. Just awesome! If you just want a dedicated break and jump cue combo to spare your own cues, this is a good affordable option! I have kind of girlish hands, and the semi-velvety/satin black finish on the grip kind of "burned" my hands a little from friction. But that's a very minor complaint. Also the Action quick-release felt a little bit on the weak side, just in terms of holding up and locking solidly in place. I had to tighten it down once or twice in between games. I do that as a tick anyways so no biggie. So yeah, for the money, a good investment to break them balls!
