I'm a big fan of cues that combine modern technology with classic style, and this cue does just that. The entire HXT line features Pure X technology, which utilizes a special lightweight polymer core in the tip area of the shaft to drastically reduce deflection and improve accuracy.

So in addition to all that technology, the HXTE5 is a great looking cue that uses high quality curly maple throughout the forearm and handle. It also features some really sharp looking black overlay and graphic Cocobolo and Bocote bands. This is a really great cue.
