Cue Silk is a fantastic product to use after you've cleaned and conditioned your shaft. It's also great when you're playing in hot and sticky conditions. All you have to do is take a couple drops; you don't want to use too much because it can get a little bit greasy. Couple drops on a soft, dry cloth, and just slowly work it into the wood. I find myself using this a lot when I'm playing overseas and the conditions are very hot and humid, and the cue doesn't slide easily through my fingers. It helps tremendously. That's all it takes, ready for use.
