If you've spent a little time looking at our selection of over 1,000 pool cues, you know that there are lots of different woods that get used to make pool cues.  The shafts are almost always hard rock maple (except for snooker cues which typically feature ash wood shafts), but the butts can feature any number of different woods.

With that in mind, we've created this new infographic explaining some of the key features and points of differentiation for the many woods that are used in constructing pool cues.  As always, if you have any questions feel free to call us at 866-843-3294 or email us at info@pooldawg.com!
