If you own a pool cue, this is an email you simply must read. Joint Protectors, also known as Joint Caps, are a must have for any pool cue owner. When you break your cue down, even if you're storing it in a good case, your collar, joint and pin are still exposed. A good joint protector set will protect these essential parts of your cue, extending the overall life of your cue.
Joint protectors come in all shapes and sizes, as pool cues are manufactured with a number of different pin sizes. The most common pin sizes are Uni-Loc, 5/16 x 14, 5/16 x 18, 3/8 x 10 and 3/8 x 14.
