Anthony Beeler

Anthony Beeler writes instructional columns for Pool and Billiard Magazine and On the Break News. He founded the Virtual Billiard Academy and created the Angles as a Second Language Course. A player representative for McDermott Custom Cues, Beeler is a four-time Kentucky State 9-Ball Champion. In 2013, he won the BCAPL National 9-Ball Championship and has six top-25 national finishes. He finished the 2013–14 and 2014–15 Bluegrass BCAPL seasons as Kentucky's number one player. In 1999, he set a record for most amateur pool tournament victories in one year, with 62 wins.
A certified American CueSports Association (ACS) instructor, Beeler is the primary author of the ACS National Billiard Instructor’s Manual. He also recently released his book, Unstoppable! Positive Thinking for Pool Players.
Outside of billiards, Anthony is a fully licensed Kentucky teacher. He holds a master’s degree in Education Leadership and has spent 25 years in public education, including nine as a school district administrator and one as a Virtual Learning Consultant for the Kentucky Department of Education.
Anthony has won over 300 pool tournaments and cashed in several professional events throughout his career. His Virtual Billiard Academy offers three months of online instruction for roughly the same cost as one day of face-to-face coaching.
