Samm and her new husband Marc caught the dreaded Derby crud when we got back to Colorado and I had to spend a week nursing them both back to health. It was my first time to Derby and I have to admit, it was quite an experience. I watched Samm do some interviews for Accu-Stats.

I hung out with some of her famous friends.

So, I decided to play some backgammon with Jay Helfert instead. I did okay. So I celebrated a little... That wasn't the only wagon I fell off. I also ate a ton of junk while I was there. Okay, I guess I needed to recover too. Samm has a busy calendar for March but I get to tag along with her so I'm happy. I do wish I could find a better way to travel though. I never can get comfortable in those seats. Next stop, VALLEY FORGE!
